- DOOR SLAB: All doors are 44.45mm thick constructed of 24-gauge electrogalvanised steel that is primed and the head cap and bottom sweep applied. The slab core is foamed in place with polyurethane. The door has a wrapped steel edge with a vinyl thermal barrier installed.
- DOOR HINGES: The hinge is 101.6x101.6mm steel with a security tab.
- LOCK BLOCK: All the doors are manufactured with an oversized wooden lock block that is engineered to reinforce one of the most crucial areas on your door. The lock block provides extra strength and a solid mountain surface so that locks and handles are anchored securely in the door for enhanced security.The block lock is designed to accommodate virtually any handle set and locking hardware.
- DOOR FRAMES: The doors are supplied with specially designed painted steel frames or galvanised frames.
- ERECTION: The doors are to be erected in prepared openings, according to manufacturer's recommendations and installation drawings .Frames must be with all clearances accurately maintained then securely fastened.
- FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS:As standard all doors are shipped with one coat of a high performance primer electro statically applied at the factory.It is recommended to finish the door within 30 days after installation.
As with any painting job, the surface preparation is the key to a long lasting finish.Make sure the existing finish is clean and dry.If necessary touch with sandpaper and wipe with a dry cloth.Do not reprime door with a metal primer.
Finish with a good grade of exterior semi-gloss paint.Water based acrylic paints are best.Oil based paints are not recommended. Do not use paint containing linseed oil, lacquer, or vinyl on the door surface .Follow paint manufacturer's recommendations for paint application.
- FIRE RATING:The doors are available as a certified 90 minutes fire rated.
- WARRANTY: Manufacturer makes no warranty, express or implied, except that for a period of 10 years from date of purchase, we warrant that under normal conditions, the door will not warp, twist distort so as to cause the installed door to malfunction.The warranty will be voided if the door is not handled or installed in accordance with our instructions, is altered in any way, or is subjected to excessive stresses resulting from application of the elements or by movement of the building or if provision has not been made in accordance with sound practice for adequate expansion or contraction of the framing members.
