Despite the very busy schedule arising out of companies operations, Daltrade still finds time to be attuned to certain needs of the society by taking up some responsibilities which include Social, Charitable and Educational.

Social Activities

HIV/AIDS AWARENESS WORKSHOP FOR EMPLOYEES:
We are aware of the menace of the AIDS scourge and the harm it has done and is still doing to the society.As a result of this, the company is in touch with organizations who hold workshops and enlightenment seminars to sensitize the company employees on issues relating to HIV/AIDS. It is an ongoing programme which is achieving remarkable success among our employees.


SPORTS:
Considering the importance of sports in our society, especially among the Nigerian youth.Daltrade Nigeria Ltd. is currently sponsoring a football team at the FCT (Daltrade FC) .We expect the team to break into the National League soon.


Charitable Activities

DONATIONS TO INSTITUTIONS IN NEED:
We do generous donations to organizations/ institutions in need.An instance is our recent monetary assistance to "The Farm Craft Centre" an organization that caters for the blind and other visually challenged.

SPONSORSHIP OF NIGERIAN ARTISTS:
In recognition of the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria our company had sponsored young talented Nigerian musicians and fashion designers.This is to save their talents from dying as a lot of talented musicians and designers never achieve much due to financial constraints.

FRIENDSHIP ASSOCIATIONS:
The Company is actively involved in promoting friendship associations within and outside Nigeria.The Nigerian-Polish relations is demonstrated by co-sponsoring of the Polish-Nigerian Association. Daltrade Nigeria Ltd. is also a co-sponsor of publications that highlights Polish activities in Nigeria.
In addition the Company is a member of the Nigerian-Polish Business Council in Lagos.


Educational Activities

SCHOOL SUBSIDY:
The Company encourages education by sponsoring some students to school in various cadres of educational development .These students receive school subsidies which help parents cushion the effect of high cost of qualitative education. The categories of people that qualify for school subsidy include staff and non-staff.

In addition to the school subsidy the Company also employ students on vacation job.
